Since its initial release, the Data Acquisition plugin has been a favorite for all rFactor setup makers. The version was initially released without support for Motec i2 Pro, but the version 1.32 now has that support. This is very valuable because with Motec Pro you can open as many windows of data as you wish, so you are able to compare different laps and see the differences in the data. The log files are more compact now, so it is easier to send a log file to a friend or "expert" so that he can compare and see the telemetry of your own laps. The version also includes an auto-update feature, that allows the files to be re-written or updated in real time, without you having to rename them every time you wish to update. rFactor has very realistic physics, and in order to get the perfect balance and setup for the car you need to know how to use telemetry. Therefore the rFactor Data Acquisition plug-in is a must-have if you want to make your own setups. There is no competition; you either use this one or guess the best settings. |
